Peer Learning Facilitators Program
Discover new ways of learning challenging course material from experienced students leading weekly sessions and workshops.
Peer Learning Facilitators (PLF) Program offers students the chance to actively supplement their learning in the classroom through weekly sessions conducted by successful students who have previously taken the course. Students will be able to discuss, participate and engage with one another in a friendly atmosphere while reviewing course material and developing beneficial study habits. The PLF Program not only benefits the students who are taking traditionally difficult courses, but it is also a positive experience for student leaders serving as PLFs.
Peer Learning Facilitators are chosen by faculty and participate in extensive training to learn the principals and techniques of facilitated group tutoring. Throughout the process, PLFs emerge as strong leaders with experience in professional development.
